Find it
when you need it!
To make the best use of your
time and to achieve the greatest results, we highly recommend scheduling at
least one 4-hour session per week.
Records Retention & Destruction
80% of papers that are filed are never referred to again
The goal of records management is to keep information moving out of your
office! Using the Lifecycle of Records, we will develop and document
retention guidelines to move information from creation through to
destruction. Storing items for a limited time will save storage costs and
space.
Paper Flow & File Management
Businesspeople
waste an average of 5½ work weeks per year looking for misplaced information
By using a survey, we will
determine your organizing style and explain how this effects the way you
manage your information. We will introduce tools and methods to keep the
paper moving, and to stop the "bottlenecking". Learn about action,
reference and archive files - why you need them and how to maintain them.
Computer
Files & E-mail
80% of data
currently stored on office computers is outdated
Learn how to actively manage your Inbox and Sent Items folder. To better
manage your computer files, we will create a file folder structure based on how
you work and think. As needed, we will perform basic computer maintenance
including software installation/updates, protection, disk cleanup, defrag and
file backup.
Resource
Library
If you can't find
information when you need it, it's virtually useless
Not all information belongs in a filing system. A resource library will serve
as a central location to store your precious resources for future reference.
Company resources often include client information, work samples, marketing
tools, magazines, books, articles, software, audio/video, etc.
